Description
If you are searching for an idea on how to experience one of Slovenia’s main tourist attractions in a fun and one-of-a-kind fashion, our Bled SUP trip should be your go-to option!
Deemed an Alpine jewel due to its picturesque presence and location on the doorstep of the Julian Alps, Lake Bled is a sight to behold.
Paddleboarding on its surface will take you past all the sights you shouldn’t miss and introduce them to you from a different perspective, avoiding the crowds and busy streets.
While taking in the views of the surrounding nature and cultural landmarks like Bled Castle, you will also be burning calories and taking care of your body. What a way to visit a city!
Even Lake Bled’s signature island will not be out of your reach on a SUP. Besides paddling around, you can take a break on its shore, explore it on foot, and visit its historic church.
The trip is suitable for anyone with a willing heart and a soft spot for watersports. Your guide will acquaint you with the basics of stand-up paddling and ensure your experience will be enjoyable overall.
Once you feel comfortable on your paddleboard, you will be welcome to engage in several fun SUP activities and delight in the surroundings in a relaxed ambiance.
Don’t worry. A SUP and a paddle will already be waiting for you by the lake. (We will also provide life jackets for children and anyone else who might need it.) All you have to bring is your swimsuit and a bag of joy!
We are already looking forward to seeing you SUP on Lake Bled, so pick a date that suits you, and let’s sink our paddles in the water!

Things to know
After meeting you, the SUP instructor will store your belongings that you don’t want on the tour in our van parked in a safe area just next to the paddling spot.
Wear comfortable clothes, like a T-shirt, shorts or a swimsuit. We recommend that you wear flip-flops or other shoes that can be worn on the paddleboard. In spring and autumn, it can get a little chilly, so we recommend wearing something warm like a hoodie, or we can lend you a short wetsuit free of charge (just tell us the size you need beforehand).
Not much, sunscreen and a bottle of water will do.
We want to ensure that your paddle-boarding tour is safe, so we’ll go out in all types of weather except heavy rain, strong river current, or wind. If the weather is bad enough that we have to reschedule your tour for another day or time, we will give you a full refund.
Anyone who can swim is welcome to join our stand-up paddleboarding tour, even without any prior experience with SUP. If you feel unsure, we can provide you with a life jacket — just tell us before the tour.
Stand-up paddleboarding is considered an easy sport, as people of all ages and fitness levels can have a go at it.
Yes! Younger children can sit in front of their (experienced) parents’ board where they will enjoy the experience as much as if they were holding the paddle themselves. Children over 12 can join us on their own SUP board.
